Considering the many countries of origin of the members, Lange Poten has a strong international character.

The trainings are pleasant and free, which doesn't prevent them from being serious and tough at the same time. Our aim is to let members play in a relaxed atmosphere, but also to give players the opportunity to improve their volleyball technique and skills.

Lange Poten participates in many tournaments, both in the Netherlands and abroad. A structural part of the program is the Benelux gay competition, which is played in Utrecht on five Sundays a year . About forty gay and lesbian volleyball teams play against each other at different levels and in different poules.
